AGRAme 2009 – An Exceptional 36% increase in visitors

AGRAme, four closely linked exhibitions under one roof showcased the latest advances to improve agriculture and irrigation; animal husbandry and poultry farming; floriculture and horticulture; plus fisheries and aquaculture in the Middle East region from 30th March – 1st April. The event featured over 100 exhibitors from more than 25 countries and a 20% year-on-year increase in exhibit space.

More than 3000 industry professionals and decision makers from 66 countries visited AGRAme 2009. The concluding figures marked an astounding 36% increase in visitors over last year.

The year 2009 also witnessed the launch of VETme, a co-located event dedicated to the booming veterinary industry in the region. VETme attracted 29 exhibitors from all over the world. The VETme conference sessions, held alongside VETme, were attended by 30 veterinary delegates from the region.

With more than 35% of the exhibit space already rebooked by 2009 exhibitors, AGRAme 2010 is expected to witness an increase of 60% in exhibit space.

The AGRAme 2009 Seminar Programme:

The AGRAme held a seminar programme which ran over all three days of the show. The sessions were informative and covered subjects on fish farming, poultry feed, biological future, irrigation and many more thought provoking and valuable topics.

The seminars were addressed by CEOs, Managing Directors, Technicians and Technologists exhibiting at the show and were attended by a large number of industry professionals, traders and decision makers from the agribusiness industry.

Entry to the seminars was free of charge and complementary CDs of the presentations were distributed to the audience.
